After I drew this locust bloom today, I popped the flower in my mouth and ate it. Sweet. We all have heard that John the Baptist ate locust in the wilderness, but I suspect he was foraging tasty food from the tree, not chasing grasshoppers for dinner.

  1. Pretty! I have never attempted white on white either but my trusty books say that you should look for the other colours reflected in the white (they will be there but may be subtle) and the shadows and gently push both of them .i.e make them deeper. requires some experimentation I imagine!
