The farm lady is back. There is a woman in my neighborhood who has a farm upstate. Sometimes she sets up a tv tray on the sidewalk near my apartment and sells items from her garden. I never know when she will be there, and just when I forget about her, she appears.
Beautiful drawing! =) I started to appreciate the flavors chives gives off when I start to cook myself. And you're right, they are good for both drawing and eating ^^
ReplyDeleteWow, that is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI actually remember a drawing task back in elementary school where we drew vegetables, and I surprised myself by making a pretty good watercolor of it, considering my age. I think chives can be blamed for my later choice of education in arts...
And it tastes so good :) It has a lot more going for it than one might think hehe
Great drawing! Our clump of chives keeps getting bigger and bigger every year.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Chives are quite tasty! nancy
ReplyDeleteReally love your composition!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful page! I have chives growing in my herb garden, but I didn't realize they got flowers! Mine never has, yet; but they're only a year old, so maybe this year?
ReplyDeleteThis journal spread is so well done! I love the shading.
ReplyDeleteLove this picture of chives - the depth form the various shades of green and the shadows, the lettering and the purple outline. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteLovely! And your text really complements your art...
ReplyDeletenice layout and use of color!
