When I visit artist blogs and look what people are creating, I see lots of pictures of scenes, from quick renderings to long studies. Those scenes have inspired me.
Drawing something I can't hold in my hand isn't my usual style, but it was fun to give a larger subject a whirl.
I sat at an open-air cafe at the Cloisters Museum. The tables, under arched walkways, surround a garden. It's nice to spend time in warm weather at the cafe, even though the brownies cost $3.50 and don't taste that good.
